Gatherings

An Emmaus Gathering is a celebration of walk experiences designed to enhance our Christian community, to inspire and continue our relationships within the Northern Illinois Emmaus Community.  A Gathering generally consists of five to six components – singing & praise, fourth day witness, clergy moments, Holy Communion and community education.  Add to the festivities some good potluck, Agape love and the occasion is well served.

Hopefully many of the Northern Illinois Emmaus Community are still refreshed from the recent Gatherings at Cary and Roscoe.  

Let’s prepare for these upcoming gatherings!

United Methodist Church of New Lenox –  (339 W. Haven Ave., New Lenox, IL)

Gathering begins at 3 – Dinner at 4 – Worship led by Rev. Norval Brown starts at 5pm

Dinner provided – bring a dessert to share & your lawn chair
