There is an old advertising slogan – “Reach out and touch someone” – exactly what we do when we bring a Pilgrim to the Walk – touch them, pray for them – change them. The Walk to Emmaus revolves around the opportunity of passing on God’s Grace to another and then another.

As vital members of the Emmaus Community we know the Joys and revitalizing we receive as Sponsors or supporting new members in a variety of program activities.

The Northern Illinois Emmaus Community has profiled the Walks for this coming Fall at the Loyola Retreat Center and we will enter a new facility at the Carmelite Center in 2016. New opportunities for new pilgrims, the expansion of newer locations and most of all the strengthening of lives through Jesus Christ, await us all.

Begin your sponsorship plans now – church goers, family members – Pilgrims are all around us if we look. Cost issues – partner sponsor – double the love to a Pilgrim. Sponsorship is purposeful and prayerful…..invest your heart and prayers to bringing that someone into God’s light.
