- What a weekend costs? With rising costs in the economy, the fee charged per person at retreat centers (including Loyola) have risen quite a bit! Most sites now average approximately $280.00 or more per person for the weekend. This includes a double room and 8 meals. Single rooms will be at a higher cost to the individual requesting one.
- All team members will be asked to donate the full cost for the weekend? As we are all part of the team and work as a whole, everyone on the team will be asked to donate the full cost for the weekend. If you have special financial circumstances and/or concerns, please do not hesitate to talk with the Board Advisor.
- You can pay in installments? For many of us, paying the entire amount for a walk at one time may be difficult. Please consider making partial payments throughout the course of the trainings. If at all possible, the board would appreciate if all payments were covered by the last training to make it possible for the registrar to focus on only the Pilgrims, Thursday night.
- The Emmaus Board recently voted to pay for all required supplies for every walk? This will save the Lay Directors/Board Advisors time and money and will eliminate the need for them to go through the trailer looking for supplies.
- The Emmaus Board is graciously accepting donations? Your generous contribution of any amount would be greatly appreciated and will offset the various costs of each walk. Donations can be made through PayPal on the Northern Illinois Emmaus website, during each full-day training, or deposited in a collection basket at all community events. Donations can also be mailed directly to Northern Illinois Emmaus, PO Box 24, Crystal Lake, IL 60039.
